also from UK where he has been for the past 15 years. Prior to that he
was in Botswana for a number of years teaching and that is also where
he met his wife Karen. Alan not only brings with him his own “Wigan”
sense of humour, his wife Karen but also their two sons Owen in year 5
and Edward in year 1

Reception Honeysuckle. Recruited from Noah's Ark Pre School
and Montesori certified, Aisha describes herself as “positive and fair with a
love for working with children.” Aisha is pleased to have joined Baobab
College having gained experience in primary school teaching at a number of
schools in Zambia and she is also busy setting up Baobab’s own Chongololo
Club. |

3 Rilla has a CV as long as your arm and many qualifications in
education. Her experience is vast having taught at various times at LICS, ISL and Lechwe to name but a few and is very well versed in the
demands of the National Curriculum of England and Wales. Rilla
lists reading, cooking, tennis and board games amongst her “extra
curricular” activities

Director
of Sport. Russell joins us from The English Academy, Kuwait having
also spent time in Kenya, Malawi and Jordan. Prior to that he learnt
his craft in the state system in UK, is a Wolves supporter for his
sins and is accompanied by his wife Natalie and 19 month old Zoe.

of Boarding; Music teacher and Key Stage 3 Pastoral. Anthony joins us
from Woodcote House Prep School in Surrey,
England
where he spent 10 years in boarding and music. He is accompanied by
his wife Lena who he met whilst working on the Arctic Circle (was it
broken) and his two children Thalia and year 5 and Magnus in year 3 |

5. Helen joined Baobab College last term and her previous employment
was at Copenhagen International School in Denmark. Specialising in
languages Helen boasts 10 O’ Levels and 4 A’ Levels and is fluent in
Mandarin Chinese. Her previous posts have included schools in
Khartoum, Sudan; Inner Mongolia and Greenwich, London |
