At Baobab College we strongly believe in potential...
We believe that excellence and success follows the realization of that potential and in this regard, we place high levels of importance on the individual student and their capability, and in the reward and recognition of their success. Baobab College offers a broad, diverse and balanced curriculum throughout the secondary school. This broad and balanced curriculum is delivered by staff of the highest quality using up to date teaching methodologies and strategies.
We follow the National Curriculum for England and Wales and our students sit the Cambridge International Examinations at the end of Year 11 (IGCSE exams) and Years 12 and 13 (AS and A Level) . At present we offer a total of twenty different subjects in the secondary school. These are spread over Key Stage 3 (Years Seven to Nine), I.G.C.S.E. (Years Ten to Eleven) and the Sixth Form (Years Twelve and Thirteen).
In November 2005 our school was awarded Cambridge International Fellowship Centre Status. This is a highly prestigious award, and one that only a few schools worldwide have achieved. We hope that you will feel encouraged to make an application to join us at Baobab and I look forward to meeting with you.
Mr. Jon Turner
Acting Head of Secondary
