Baobab College possesses a wide range of facilities with open space being in abundance and as such we are fortunate enough to be able to offer a wide range of sports many of which are recognised by being awarded school colours. At the end of the last academic year the following students were awarded either Sporting Excellence Awards or Individual Sports colours:

Facilities include:
- 2 full-size rugby pitches
- 1 full-size soccer pitch
- 2 seven-a side soccer pitches
- 1 full-size hockey pitch
- 2 seven-a side hockey pitches
- 5 netball courts
- 2 basketball courts
- 2 tennis courts
- 3 volleyball courts
- 1 cricket square and nets
- 1 international standard 25m 8-lane swimming pool
- 1 400m 8-lane running track with all normal field event facilities including concrete throwing circles and 2 jumping pits

Russel Mann is Baobab College’s Director of Sport and is charged with further improving the profile of sport within the school and throughout the Independent Schools Association of Zambia as well as the local community. As well as taking on the PE Department Russell has also taken on the Afternoon Activity Programme with the idea of making the two, PE and Activities, more hand in glove.
