Baobab Boarding

Baobab College is delighted to reopen boarding in August 2021. Boarding at Baobab is special, a home away from home, and our boarders feel like our family, in which boys and girls can grow as individuals within a supportive community.  

We offer full, weekly and flexi-boarding for Secondary students. Full boarding is the most effective way to realise the benefits of learning to live with others, seven days a week, for work, study, play and relaxation. This is an ideal context in which to form healthy relationships, as well as learning to live with diversity.

Weekly boarders can be dropped off at the boarding house after 06.30 on the Monday morning. If you have to drive long distances students can be dropped off after 16.00 on the Sunday. Weekly boarders can be picked up on a Friday after 14:00.

If you would like your son or daughter to experience occasional boarding, or if you would like your child to stay at school overnight sometimes, then flexi-boarding is for you. Whatever type of boarding experience you choose for your child, we are sure that they will enjoy the close bonds that form within the school community.

Our boarders of 2019-2020 produced a wonderful mockumentary on life at boarding called 'At home with the boarders (before Covid restrictions applied!).
