BAOBAB SCHOOL FEES SCHEDULE   Summary         40:30:30 SPLIT

PLEASE NOTE THAT SCHOOL FEES ARE FOR THE DELIVERY OF A FULL YEARS SYLLABUS

 AND ARE SPLIT OVER THREE TERMS FOR EASIER PAYMENT TERMS

SCHOOL FEE POLICY

The above charges are ANNUAL and are in US Dollars payments can be made in Zambian Kwacha, the ruling rate on the day of payment or in US Dollars by one of the following three options:

1)             3 payments split in the ratio 40:30:30 to be made by the last day of the previous term. Outstanding balances will attract a monthly interest charge of 1%

2)            1 annual payment for the full amount due less 4% discount on Tuition Fees

3)            12 equal monthly payments which will include 1% interest per  month

Tuition Fees are payable by the last day of the preceding term and outstanding balances are subject to a monthly interest charge of 1%

The Registration Fee is a one off payment per child payable upon registration of the child for assessment of suitability to join the school

The Initial Capital Contribution Fee is the fee for new students joining the school by way of contribution to the development of the school. The Annual Capital Contribution fee is a recurring fee payable in line with your chosen payment option.

The Book Deposit is a refundable deposit held by the school against books and equipment issued to pupils in years 7 through 11 and years 12 and 13. The deposit is refunded in full upon return of the books and equipment to the school in good condition. The school reserves the right to deduct from the deposit the value of any damaged or lost goods, should this amount, in the view of the school, to more than the book deposit this balance will payable by the pupils parent/guardian

Boarding Fees are based on full boarders and weekly boarders receive a 10% reduction on full boarders’ fees

DISCOUNTS

A 4% Discount will be applied separately to each annual tuition fee paid in full on or before the final day of the previous academic year

NOTICE PERIOD

One full terms written notice addressed to the Admissions Office is required when a pupil is being withdrawn from Baobab College.

In the event that such notice is not given Baobab College reserves the right to charge the full terms fees.

REFUND POLICY

Baobab College charges per academic year and fees are for the delivery of the full years syllabi and as such tuition fees for pupils being withdrawn part way through the academic year are NON REFUNDABLE.

Boarding Fees will be refunded at the rate of US$5 per day per child for both full boarders and weekly boarders.

LEARNING SUPPORT

Baobab College offers a comprehensive learning support programme to any student who requires support. A per session charge will be levied for the use of this service and the exact charge will be determined by the amount of support your child needs and following discussions with the Head of Learning Support and the School Business Manager

AFTER CARE

Baobab College offers a complimentary After Care facility for parents who are unable to collect children immediately after the school day finishes. Baobab College reserves the right to levy a US$10 discretionary charge per session for children who are left at school and need to be collected from the Boarding House

THE ABOVE FIGURES ARE IN US DOLLARS AND PAYMENT CAN BE MADE IN US$ OR ZAMBIAN KWACHA AT THE RULING BANK RATE ON THE DAY OF PAYMENT.

TUITION FEES:

Full Annual Tuition Fee spread over terms 1, 2 and 3 in a ratio of 40:30:30

TOTAL TERMLY PAYMENT:

Term 1 tuition fee plus Term 1 Capital Contribution in a ratio of 40:30:30

TOTAL MONTHLY PAYMENT:

Term 1 tuition fee plus Term 1 Capital Contribution payment all multiplied by 5% and spread over 5 monthly installments. The first installment must be received by Baobab College on or before 1^st July 2007 and the subsequent 4 equal payments must be received by Baobab College on or before the last working day of August, September, October and November.  Term 2 fee payments commence on 7^th December 2007

TOTAL PAYMENT ANNUAL:

Annual Tuition Fees less 4% discount plus full years Annual Capital contribution
