SECONDARY NEWS
The
first three weeks of term have positively flown by. It is good to see the
examination students return to class after the trials and tribulations of
their mock exams. Their subject tutors are now busy hatching plans aimed at
helping these students make the best of both their talents and the remaining
time. Over the next couple of weeks
PRIMARY NEWS
It
has been a productive three weeks of term and I am pleased to report that the
children are settled and progressing well so far this term. Many
congratulations to the P.T.A for all their hard work at the Cheese and Wine
evening that took place last Friday. The evening was a tremendous success and
thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Next week we will be hosting an
evening informing parents about what to expect when their child goes to
Secondary school. Year Six parents should have received their invitations but
please feel free to attend even if your child is not in Year Six. If your
child is in Key Stage Two

NEW ARRIVAL
Congratulations go out to Mr Oscar Mubila and his
wife Nosiku on the birth of their second child
LIBRARY NEWS We
would like to extend a very special thanks to the PTA for the generous
donation of K1.5million to each of the school libraries. We went on a shopping
trip and managed to get 48 and 58 books for the Secondary and Primary
libraries respectively. What a wonderful New Years gift. Here is a quote from
one of the books we managed to buy;
“There are worse crimes than burning books. One of them is not reading
them”-Joseph Brodsky
PRIMARY SCIENCE FAIR
Only
3 weeks to go. The Primary Science Fair will be held on Thursday 15th

efforts in a good project. If you still have not found a topic
BAOBAB SUDOKU
The
winner of the last edition’s Sudoku was; Philip “Sudoku
King” Kalinda. His subject tutors have since been
advised to set him even more work than at present as he clearly has too much
time on his hands! Entries should be sent either via a paper copy to Jon
Turner
